Event: Return of the Ancients

In ancient times, when the world of Chaos was still home to an old and long-forgotten race, laboratories were scattered across the world where the genetics of animals were studied. These laboratories were very far apart to prevent the escape and mixing of experiments in case of an accident. Nothing was sacred to the scientists of this ancient race. They crossed various species, modified genomes, and even influenced the maturation of eggs themselves!

It was a great calamity that wiped out the entire civilization that put an end to these terrible experiments. However, the damage had already been done. Throughout Chaos, and even in the adjacent worlds of the known dimensions, the gene for certain colors and traits of horses was erased. For this reason, the descendants of those animals can no longer reproduce.

Only recently have scripts and secret records been discovered that mention the locations where these laboratories might be found. Everything is, of course, encrypted, and it is not easy to find the main, largest laboratory where the last eggs of horse breeds might be located.

So hurry, for it is uncertain how much longer they will survive…

Event Progression

The event will begin in the magical quarter of the eastern city in Chaos.

Getting the code: Each player takes one book from the chest. Inside, they will find a code.
Navigation: Enter the code into the compass using the command /gcomp [code] and set off to find the ancient laboratories.
In the laboratory: Once you find the laboratory, you will see three chests in the room at the top of the stairs. Each player can open only one chest (multiple players can open the same chest).
Next clue: Take another book with a code, enter it into the compass, and follow the trail to the next laboratory.
Goal: Your goal is to find the book that will lead you to the final, main laboratory with the egg samples.

Note: It is possible that the trail will lead you back to a laboratory you have already visited. THIS IS NOT A BUG! The records are encrypted and the paranoid scientists deliberately mixed up the books and tangled the paths to make their experiments hard to find.

Allowed and Forbidden Equipment

Transportation: Only LIVING horses (not skeleton horses from Skeledar) and donkeys are allowed.
Ender pearls: Each player may carry a maximum of half a stack (in case of falling into a hole).
Weapons and PvP: PvP is prohibited throughout the event. Weapons are not necessary, but since you are moving in the Chaosphere, we recommend an iron sword for defense against mobs.
Supplies: Bring food in any quantity (better more than less).
Forbidden items: Elytra, Speed potions, and potions from Marshes of Oblivion are strictly forbidden.
