Chaosphera is a new world, specially designed and built directly for GateCraft. It is a world where players set out for adventure, for rare treasures, special items, or just to test their skills in PvP, which is allowed absolutely without penalty and with everything that entails. It is therefore possible to arrange duels as well as to ambush, kill, and rob someone. Killing players in Chaosphera has another interesting result: from every player who dies at the hands of another player, their head drops with the killer's name, the weapon used, the damage dealt (HP), and the date. The head, of course, has the player's skin when placed.
Teleportation is disabled throughout Chaosphera. This has to do with the specific vibrations of matter in this world. The only places where teleportation can be used are so-called teleportpads. However, due to the complexity of the transfer, preparing the teleportation takes much longer than usual.
There are also three TeleportMasters freely found in Chaos. These are NPCs that allow direct travel between all three stations. The catch is that they are not willing to share their secrets so easily, so players must gradually visit the individual stations in order to use them.
Chaos Maze
Chaos Maze is a labyrinth that players see immediately after passing through the Star Gate into the world of Chaosphera. It is a maze made of Netherbricks that hides altars with treasures consisting of XP bottles. However, the treasures did not remain unguarded. The treacherous Pigmen do not want to give up their valuables, so a guard was posted at each altar. The guards are, of course, specially adjusted according to the value of the treasure they protect.
Part of the labyrinth is also a large Citadel serving as a place to summon the boss – the Pigmen Overlord. This creature guards a treasure chest in which rare and special items can be found, such as bows, fishing rods, and others. Part of the treasure may also be the epic item Legacy of Elders with special enchants that cannot be obtained in any other way. It is also possible to obtain leather boots here that increase the player's movement speed in the world.
Undead Forest
In this dark forest, stretching south of Chaos Maze, it's not wise to have a picnic. Cursed corpses in the form of zombies roam here, capable of infecting adventurers from the Kingdom with nausea and temporarily making both movement and spatial orientation unpleasant for them. It is said that a hero who has not yet appeared on GateCraft must come to open the way for the heroes of the Kingdom.
Quartz craters
West of Chaos Maze are craters that represent a way to obtain Quartz on this server. However, it is not easy – Quartz only appears at night, accompanied by falling meteors and the presence of Blazes, who do not want to give up their precious resource. If brave players survive the night near the craters, they can mine Quartz during the day and take it to their cities.
Netheris
This village is located in the hellish mountains south of Chaos Maze. Brave heroes from the Kingdom founded a settlement here where players can rent a house or trade. There is access to a gate to the Nether that leads directly to a pigman village where quests can be completed. There are also two entrances to the hellish mines where players can mine Netherrack. Since traveling on foot is inconvenient and time-consuming, a teleportation platform (teleportpad) has been built here, allowing players to teleport back to the safe lands of the Kingdom.
Revenant Wastelands
This desert, arid land modeled after the Grand Canyon is located southeast of the Chaos Maze labyrinth. Treacherous marshes inhabited by skeletons armed with bows and a huge supply of arrows can be found here, who are very happy to greet passing players. Many a great lizard or dragon has fallen victim to them, who once dared to land in these marshes in the hope of finding water to quench their parched throats.
Skeledar
In the south of the Revenant Wastelands lies the once prosperous city of Skeledar, which is now plagued by a terrible curse, so the local soldiers, now long dead and turned into skeletons, still try to defend the city's treasures.
In the chests here, it is possible to find long-forgotten weapons such as Scalpel, Skeledar's Wrath, Omni Bow, Tanelorn’s Star, and others. From the guards of Skeledar themselves, it is literally possible to beat out their swords Revenant’s Sword or their battle axes Revenant’s Axe and, of course, magical bones, some of which can be used for black magic, otherwise known as necromancy. The main benefit of necromancy is the ability to summon your own Skeleton horse at will, which players can create from a whole stack of first-class bones and a leather saddle.
Withador
This picturesque little town was founded by the first adventurers who ventured into these inhospitable plains of Revenant Wastelands. It is located on an archipelago in the southwest of the plains. The individual islands are connected by suspended walkways, and pilgrims from the Kingdom can rent a house here, which can serve as a forward base for expeditions to the perilous Skeledar. It is also possible to rent a shop here, and since Withador is a mile away from the Star Gates, it also has its own teleportation platform, allowing players to teleport back to the Kingdom.
Marshes of Oblivion
These treacherous swamps are home to venomous spiders and unpleasant rat creatures known as Silverfish. There are also wooden walkways firmly built on pillars above the treacherous and dangerous soaked ground.
In these swamps, mushrooms and rare herbs thrive, so it's no wonder that treacherous and powerful witches have made their homes here, secretly brewing special potions whose recipes are passed on only to the initiated. Players can thus obtain potions that they cannot prepare themselves from any currently known ingredients. The rarest and most powerful potions are Potion of Immortality and Potion of Liquid Death.
Enderie
Northwest of the Chaos Maze labyrinth lies the mysterious world of Enderie, home to Endermen. Levitating strange crystals and an enderman fortress can be found here, hiding more than one treasure chest. The black, three-block-tall guards, however, tolerate no intruders in their territory. Any player who dares to enter these parts is immediately attacked and must fight for their life every meter to reach the desired treasure. In the chests, there are Ender pearls, Endstone, and if the player is truly a child of fortune, it is even possible to find a Beacon here, which is otherwise unobtainable on the server.
However, there is also a benefit from the Endermen themselves. If players manage to kill them, in addition to the usual drop of Ender pearls, a unique set of armor made from enderman leather drops. The armor itself has a special effect and the ability to store energy, which can be used to teleport outside the usual cooldown without using mana.
All information about the individual locations in Chaosphera can also be found in the GateCraft Wiki, and in the near future, we are preparing an overview of the individual quests along with gameplay for you.
